Our friend's daughter has not been well these past few weeks (surgeries, PICU) and today she just got home today.  I am truly grateful for the health of my children.  The love and support that came to this family was awesome.  Her mom posted that it was like we were all "storming heaven" to get Gracie well again. 

I have heard of some other friends of friends that have had brushes with death, children's severe illnesses and even a close friend's death in the last month.  It is all so very near and yet so removed when going about your daily chores, routines...well, life. 

My friend posted that she really gets the idea now that, "Life is what happens when you are making plans."

I am grateful for life.
