Shopping for a New Size

As the pounds have been coming off, well, so have the clothes been leaving the closet.  As the summer is trying to heat up, I am noticing that I have less and less to wear.  So, yesterday I went shopping.  I am grateful for my G4 friends...they provide good sound feedback and patience as I am trying on all these new clothes...and some new styles! 

Baseball

I am so very grateful CJ loves baseball.  I enjoy watching him play, talk about the game and it is really cool because his dad is the coach.  He enjoys playing shortstop and 2nd base.  Shortstop is my favorite position to watch so I am thrilled he enjoys it too!  Just a one more game to the tourney and championship game!

Time to Clean and Play

How nice that I can take the time to clean the house and play with my kids...and not feel guilty about all the things that should be getting done...all due to summer vacation.

I am grateful I am a teacher and have summers off.

Wedding

I am grateful to have attended a wonderful wedding on such a gorgeous day!  Attending a wedding helps us all remember the vows we took, the love we shared on our special day.

Presentations

I am so grateful for the class presentations today.  The students presented their projects in a professional manner.  They were engaging and interesting on many levels.  They are are a really great group of students.

I am also grateful for the professor who came down for the presetantions.  She lended a helping hand with the reviews and was helpful in guiding me through the process.

Individual

Today during teaching my college course we had individual conferences.  I am so grateful for the time spent getting to know my students on another level and hear about their projects.

Long days

I am grateful for long work days...why?  They keep me involved and busy. 

Teaching

Love it at the 2nd grade level and love it at the college level. 

Interesting and engaging. 

Great Day

I am grateful for a great day! No more, no less. Just as is!

Happy Father's Day

I am very grateful for my husband!  He is a great father to our kids. 

It is quite amazing...he didn't grow up with a father and yet he has some great skills in raising our boys.  It just all comes down to love.  He just does what comes naturally with his heart full of love. 

My boys are blessed to have such a great father!

Talking it Through

I am very grateful for the friends and family that allow me to vent, chat, talk-it-out and give sound advice along the way.  It is always very appreciated.

All Done

Yep....all done and so grateful that I was able to have a most fabulous year...great students and fun times with the staff, just a really great year.

Last Day of School

I am so grateful CJ had such a great year! He had a wonderful, caring, smart and fun teacher. She knew just how to get him to learn. I am so proud of him!

I am also grateful for my wonderful students I had this year. They were a most fabulous bunch of students. I will sure miss them!

Last Minute Mom

I am grateful for my mom (yes again) for helping out with the kids (again) at the last minute.

Ending the Year

I am grateful that the end of the school year is just two days away...I am ready for summer!

Having More Patience

I told my hubby today...I am so proud of him for having more patience. It has really been noticable lately. We have all appreciated it. I am so grateful for him having more patience.

Beachtime

I am grateful for the amount of time over the last 38 years of my life that I have been to the OR coast. I love our beaches!

Challenges

I am grateful for my dear friend who callenged me to a tough work out and my other dear friend who did the challenge right along side me!

Getting it All Done

I am grateful that the small panic attacks have stopped (even just a little) and that they are making way for some R/R and some completion to some of the bigger projects out there.

Meeting a New Mentor

I am so very grateful for the people in my life who introduce me to others who are willing to help me and guide me along a path. It feels good to have people care about the greater good...especially when I am a part of that greater good...small, bit part, but still a part.

Working Together

When we work together our lives are congruent and everyone is a lot happier...I am grateful for those moments.

Medicine

I am grateful my boys can get better due to modern medicine.

Opportunities

I am so very grateful for the opportunities that have been presented to me lately. I like where I am going and I am grateful for the mentors along the way.

I am grateful I get to spend one more year with you and celebrate your life! I love you! Happy birthday hubby-O-mine!

Sunshine

Finally, finally we had some sunshine! It makes for a fun day in the sun...Saturday market, yummy food, great company, relaxing by a stream. The sunshine makes us all feel happy. For that, I am really grateful.

A quick decision

It was a night filled with good times...laughter, singing, dancing, great food and drink...it was a night that was headed for some regular business-as-usual. But, because of a quick decision from all parties...sitters and company...we had a most fabulous night!

Counting Down

The end of the school year is close. I am ready for some sunshine, relaxation and a different focus. Calmness.

Coming Together

It is amazing at times to see and feel it all come together. It is also amazing to watch it unravel and also horrifing, but on the flip-side, when it comes together and forms, gets tight, is built, feels solid...it feels good.

I wonder, does one have to know the falling apart to appreciate the coming together?

I am grateful for both.

Not very often...

Do I make it to a baseball game. I do love baseball and I really enjoy watching CJ play. Tonight was the first game I've made this season...tonight was alos the first night they played for two hours straight in pouring down rain AND tonight was the first night CJ has ever pitched! I am so grateful I got to see him pitch! He said, "I threw a couple pitches then balled the rest.".
